I think what's going on is - people (like me) see the vegetarian diet being pushed, very heavily. And even when it's not actually vegetarian, I see the "eat much less meat, eat much more fruits/veggies/grains" advice everywhere.
No, it's not at the stage of "raiding steakhouses and confiscating ribeyes". Not yet.
But for sure, anybody that sees a standard mainstream doctor (which is a really bad idea in any case) about anything like diabetes or heart disease is told - avoid beef, avoid saturated fat, eat lots of whole grains and vegetables.
I just talked to an older friend about this topic, this friend just had a mild heart attack, and was told to avoid saturated fat, and beef. And the nutritional science just does NOT support that.
I experienced amazing health benefits, going carnivore. No, it's not a miracle cure for everything (except maybe autoimmune disease - do your own research on that), but I'm never going back.
I would continue with Carnivore even if I got only this ONE benefit
