One of the photo sessions I enjoy the most is for birthdays, and thank God I frequently have clients for this type of photo.
The photos I'll show you today are of a girl who was about to turn 25 and wanted to do a studio photo session.
The girl wore a very beautiful red outfit with flowers and a cake to make it a birthday theme.
The red of her dress matched very well with the red of the flowers, and the girl looked beautiful and happy. It's worth mentioning that red is her favorite color.
For all the photos, I used my CANON RP camera with a 50mm lens at 2/f and a single light source, a speed lite flash with a 50cm octabox at 45 degrees from the girl.
We explored different poses to get variety in the photos.
The girl also brought number balloons, and I took a couple of photos with the balloons. This was our favorite photo:
Since the girl's outfit was so pretty, it was worth taking a couple of photos without accessories, so she could use these photos in a more casual way.
i put a cube in the set to vary the poses, and the result was very good!
At the end of the photo session, both the girl and I were very happy with the results of this day. I hope you like them as much as we do!
