Let's say zero just to make it fun.
Let’s say Trump goes to check the gold reserves at Fort Knox and finds out there’s only a tiny fraction of the gold left. Two questions:
  1. Do you think he’d expose the situation or keep it a secret?
  2. If it came out that there’s no gold, what would happen to the global economy/markets?
Maybe @Undisciplined wants to weigh in on this too.

Trump would definitely expose it so he could make news. I don't think anything substantial would happen. Maybe treasuries sell off a bit and yields rise as revaluing the gold to market value is no longer an option.

I seriously doubt that. He wants to brag about the economy and this news if true would have the opposite effect. He has so many ways to make news, he doesn't need to make the news in this way. If they actually do go make an event of "checking the gold" it will be a farce like the last time this was done.

I agree with @grayruby, Trump’s really enjoying exposing the corruption of the past regime and I think it buys him more runway to do so.

Its possible but I seriously doubt he'd take it that far. He likes winning to much and this would not help him win IMO. Just think about the stuff that HASN'T been exposed and won't be because of the consequences.
I could see a Ron Paul doing this. Not a Donald Trump.
