Barcelona’s iconic Sagrada Familia is set to be completed in 2026, after 142 years of construction. Officials have confirmed that the Tower of the Virgin Mary will be finished in 2025, and the Tower of Jesus Christ, reaching 172.5 meters, will be completed in 2026. This will make the Sagrada Familia the world’s tallest church, surpassing Germany’s Ulm Minster. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, the structure features 18 towers representing biblical figures, including the apostles, evangelists, the Virgin Mary, and Jesus. The 2026 completion will coincide with the centenary of Gaudí’s death, and he is buried in the church’s crypt.

Nuts! I tend to think of Europe as a decaying museum these days, Trevi fountain, Notr Dame etc. I would actually try to see that in all its glory. Love Gaudi's park.
