
It's a funny thing about life, ever since I did my first session of 'polas' it was like I had 'unlocked' them, and now I've been doing a lot more polas. This time, I worked with a modeling agency who needed these photos for their portfolio.
Pola photos are like a model's ID. They are simple photos, without much retouching or makeup, that show what the model is like naturally. These photos help agencies and clients see the model's potential and what they really look like.
I worked with several models that day and we did the same types of photos for all of them to make everything flow quickly. The first photo was a close-up:








The next photos we took were medium shots, each model chose their pose:








The following photos were full body, so far all the poses were very simple to show naturalness in the models.








And finally, for the following photos, the models were asked to do a 'free pose' a little out of the ordinary and the naturalness we had been working with...








There were 8 models and I had to photograph them all in less than 1 hour, so we had to devise an efficient way to work to carry out the task and in the end we succeeded!
