I'm definitely waiting a few months before diving in (which I almost always do with games nowadays.)
I have plenty of backlog anyway, still need to finish my 5 separate runs of Baldur's Gate 3.
That's a solid strategy. These games always launch with bugs that get ironed out over time. Civ 7's already had about 5 updates, one planned and the rest for bug squashing. I've clocked 72 hours on the second difficulty level, snagged all the wins, and completed all the legacy paths in the three eras. It's super addictive if you're into this kind of game.
