Why would it be? We export dollars (which don't count for this) and import real stuff.
Why would you want your country exporting more than it imports?
I certainly didnt reason enough to guess if that's the case. Dollars are enough surplus to America I agree.
I just placed it because I think America is a big and rich country and definitely should have extra goods to export. But it seems US people consume evrything they produce.
