I think private companies should be allowed to regulate speech on their property. What I'm saying is there shouldn't generally be consequences for a publisher expressing views that can be expressed on a platform.

Unfortunately private companies are allowed to regulated speech, although it absolutely agree. 

I just hate that they get the protections of a platform while acting as a publisher. It's such a stupid system.

First answer: Stop regulating speech, so the distinction becomes largely irrelevant.

Second answer: If they really are just offering a place for people to share their views, then they are a platform. If they're only allowing certain opinions, then they're a publisher.
