I only did German but the family plan made it feel like a team effort. It's a great start!

I think the Duolingo lessons can be quite repetitive. But as they stand, they are perfect for my preschooler boy.

Learning Chinese

Duolingo is fun. I got the family plan and a few of us were doing German, Spanish and Chinese however... We got more interested in the leaderboards than in becoming truly fluent. I think the next step would be to get tutors for conversation. Maybe next time we get into it!
