Fossil fuel users are mostly not paying for the consequential costs of your consumption.
This is an example of free markets not regulating behaviour in the best interests of all participants.
The cost of climate change is yet to be quantified but it is primarily driven by GHG emissions and the cost will be imposed indiscriminately across the world.
All responsible nations (even Russia) signed the Paris Accord on reducing GHG emissions except Iran, Yemen and more recently, rogue state Trumps USA.
