They didn't say if it's self custody or not. Or maybe I just must assume it is 🤔
I can't find if it's Cashu-based but I assume calling it ecash means it's custodial (with mints as custodians)
ecash is by definition custodial. It's just custodial with nice features like (hopefully) having private transactions.
run your own mint and will be self-custodial.
