Two years in a row. I wonder how this will affect their ability to sign him long term.
26M ain't bad but I am sure he wants a multi-year deal.
Sports fact: Walter Higgins was a professional golfer and that's why he named his son Tee.

I feel like you’re trolling but this one is borderline believable, or maybe I’m just an idiot
reply
I assure you, all if my sports facts are borderline believable.

Makes complete sense.

If they win some games, he might not take it too badly.
reply
That’s true. I guess we will see how it plays out next offseason. Another big name off the trade block.

Bengals are a different team when Tee is healthy
reply
Definitely. He doesn’t seem to get major injuries but seems to miss a few games every year.
reply
He’s good but he’s not Jamar Chase

I don’t really know how the franchise tag thing works. But he seems to not be very happy about it. I hope it doesn’t affect his play. But it also must be hard to be WR2 when he’d probably be WR1 on most teams
reply
Teams are allowed to franchise tag one player per year. They must pay them a guaranteed contract equivalent to 120% of their previous year salary and absorb the entire cap hit in that year. I believe they can do it for two years.

So like kicking the can on a fully new deal I guess
Thank you for the explanation!
