It's funny how European leaders, rejected domestically, still want to find some semblance of relevance on the international scene by dictating the terms of a war that they started and lost.
How out of touch do you have to be?
Europe has lost more than the war, and none of these so called leaders have the courage to bring the bad news to the public, so they retreat into a pretend game in a desperate last attempt to fool the public. But how long can the illusion hold?
Also, on tariffs (I have no opinion on the subject but going this take original and interesting)
Trump sees tariffs in a different way than indoctrinated free-market economists. Tariffs don’t prevent trade. They ensure that countries have something with which to trade. Moreover, tariffs are a tax on consumption, not a tax on factors of production such as labor and capital. And as I emphasize, tariffs in place of income tax eliminates the resurrection of a form of slavery established in 1913 when government was given partial ownership of the labor of every working citizen.
