Indeed. I am seeing it now. One of my projects I am working on we had a construction estimate of about $6.1M for water/sewer infrastructure before bid.
After the bidding process only one contractor responded and put in a price of $13M. Meaning we are short $9.5M to award and get moving on this project.

Wow. I'm going to run that past my mom to see how she reacts. She worked in construction helping put bids together for most of her career.
