Schrödinger's cat theory is a thought experiment proposed by physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935 to illustrate a fundamental problem in the interpretation of quantum mechanics. The experiment is based on the so-called "observer problem": in the quantum world, particles can exist in multiple states simultaneously until they are measured.
