It was defensive backs and Tight Ends that showcased their skills on Day 2. I did watch some highlights on NFL network. Some blazing 40 times by the DBs and wow this TE class is deep.
Here is an article from Espn recapping the day and identifying some of the stand out performances.
Quarterbacks and Running backs are up today.
Sats for all, GR
How the guy from Penn State look?
You mean TE Tyler Warren?
I think he is still highly touted and will go in the mid first. Probably first TE off the board but Loveland is gaining momentum. TE is deep in this draft. I don’t think it makes sense to use a 1st round pick on one but I am sure some teams will.
Always fighting the last war. Bowers and LaPorta have been so good that teams will bite earlier than they should.
Maybe Raiders will take Warren. Seems to be a trend taking a TE in first round. 3 TE sets are going to be unstoppable.
Excuse me, sir, we traded up to take Mayer early in the 2nd.
Ok. My bad. I thought he was a first round pick. Who did they take in the first round?
Bowers at 13 last year. Mayer was projected to be a 1st rounder, but fell into the 2nd.
I know Bowers went in the first. Who did they take in the first the year prior when they took Mayer in the 2nd.
It's crazy the athleticism displayed by today's NFL athletes. I mean they were always super athletic but now it's like all of them are. We do have our occasional freaks evert once in a while. But who Rembert Bo Jackson. One of a kind that fella
It's kind of fun that the freakiest athletes usually skip the combine and we don't get their official measurables. It makes them more mythical and legendary in retrospect.
Agreed. Modern athletes are bigger, faster stronger than ever but guys like Bo Jackson would fit in perfectly with today’s athletes.
