Agreed. My personal favorite brand is Kavalan from Taiwan, but their whiskies tend to be a bit on the pricey side. I visited their distillery in Taiwan back in 2023, really cool place.
Nikka from Japan makes some good ones too. Their cask strength whisky Nikka from the Barrel is one of my goto.

Nice. I haven't tried Whiskey from Taiwan before. I'll have to put Kavalan on my list.
