Honestly this sounds like a change to avoid being sued vs a change in behaviour. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what this sounds like to me.
Regardless, everytime I read stuff like this it reminds me of the absurdity of IP. Life we OWN the text we type in a browser. It's really silly.
If you don't trust Mozilla though I don't blame you. I don't either. Checkout Libre Wolf.
