I believe Hal Finney said “Halfining”. But I've heard “Halving” or “Halvening”... who’s right?

Personally I call it the halvenening.
I think both are correct.

I red somewhere that "halvening" started in the Doge community as a way to differentiate between it and Bitcoin's halving, can't remember where I read it though.
