The Pentagon is investigating claims by government contractor Jake Barber, who alleges he retrieved a crashed “egg-shaped” UFO during secret missions.

Barber, a former helicopter pilot, came forward in January, describing an object with no engine or thermal signatures. “I saw an egg, a white egg,” he told NewsNation. “It’s inconsistent with anything I’d ever seen before.”

The Department of Defense (DoD) has confirmed it is looking into his case, adding it to 21 other active investigations into unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).

These investigations stem from a recent report by the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), which revealed 757 UAP encounters reported by US authorities, mainly between May 1, 2023, and June 1, 2024.
