Even after using the code it gives me, l come back to this screen. The code l put in is correct, l have double checked every time l try.

Do you copy and paste it or enter it?
reply
Yes k00b, l copied and pasted it. Then verified it was the correct code. I also tried manually typing it.

If you can, I recommend clearing the cookies and site data for SN, then giving it another shot. If you were logged out randomly (which is a bug @ek has been meaning to fix), it might have some leftover data that's messing stuff up.
reply
I thought it logged you out randomly every 30 days or so? Didnt know that was a bug.

It shouldn't log you out if you're active. That's a bug.
reply
Interesting. Its been doing that to my computer and cell phone since l started using sn last year.

Oh that's an error that happens outside of the code verification, which makes me wonder: did the page where you enter the code, show your email address?
reply
What do you mean 'putting in the code'?
You don't use the token as password or enter it anywhere, you click the link in the email you get. Or you copy paste the URL from the email into the browser where you want an authenticated session.

Right on, let's fix it. Knowing if the page where you should enter the code, showed you your correct email address is crucial* to know what caused it. Did it?
If you wanna know why it's crucial, when you enter the code we 'build' a verification process just for you and the email that supposedly got saved, knowing if the email is being shown can eliminate or confirm one probable cause of that error
If it says something like 'your email address' at the moment of code entering, that's wrong and it shouldn't say that.
reply
You are not helping me at all. Just wasting my time. Its the correct email since that is where the verification code is going.

I'm asking you this specific question because if it doesn't say the email you entered, it means that your browser didn't save the email as we expect it to (the email will be sent regardless) and then we can't log you in, and so by you helping me help you I can know if there's something wrong with the code or something wrong with your browser. I implemented the new code, I'm not doing some chatgpt-like rambling.

Sox implemented this change so they are trying to help you.
Thats the way it used to be. This is the first time uaing this new method but for some reason its not working. Im sure k00b will figure something out, just hope it is before my cell phone logs out.
