You are not crazy it has been a trend for the last few decades. Things like cars have gone from dozens of different colors many bright and vibrant down to just a few colors like black, grey, and tan. Just another way to keep us in a low vibrational state. When you live in a bland colorless world it’s easier to keep you uninspired and more submissive.
I noticed this basically thanks to my daughter, we were playing something called "rainbow car" it's a game she saw in the cartoon "Bluey" which consists of finding rainbow colored cars, you know purple, pink, yellow, orange etc. We were on the bus looking out the windows looking for brightly colored cars, but most were black, gray and white, very few red or blue, not to mention green, orange, pink and purple cars are non-existent, my daughter upon noticing that just said "adults are so boring, why do they only like boring colored cars?"). Yes, the world is becoming a grayscale, the designs of houses and restaurants (including McDonald's, which was previously characterized by bright colors, now the stores are gray), the designs of buildings, clothes, absolutely everything. That "aesthetic" tendency to make everything boring and superficial.

I have noticed this and it is quite upsetting. Even colour options for cars are dull. Most people drive black, grey, silver or white cars, but even the reds and blues tend to be dark red and dark blue.
