I will be the first to say it many many moons ago... hell I was still in College and the pandemic hadnt happened yet my brother got me "mining" Pi. I did it for a while and then honestly got a new phone or two and it fell to the back of my mind. My brother told me that they were going to launch their mainnet or "open network" soon and since I had ~1,500 Pi I went ahead and did the KYC (after all the government has all my crap anyway with work so why not claim whatever I can).
Ever since my brother first told me about the mainnet launch though Pi has continued to delay and delay it and I figured ahh well my fake nonexistent crypto isnt going to launch oh well... So I will be damned when I saw this morning it did in fact launch and even with the 65% crash it still hasnt become worthless! I figured once it launched it would do a straight 95% decline at least or it would end up going down due to everyone trying to exit.
As it currently stands the stupid crap is worth $0.66 a Pi and that means the 1,500 I have is worth a little under $1,000. Now granted its all on my old phone at my apartment and I am stuck at work so I can't exit and over the course of today it could completely wash out but I am still amazed it launched in the first place. So I got to ask.... Am I the only one surprised by this actually coming to fruition?!
Never heard of it until today. I suggest you sell your Pi with haste and buy more bitcoin.
