Not unexpected after being sidelined for 6 weeks and starting over with a new team but Luka Doncic has not looked himself yet with the Lakers.

The Lakers have played 3 games against bad teams. Two against the Jazz and one against the Hornets and they lost 2 out of 3.

After 3 games Luka's stats with the Lakers look as follows:

Edit: but yea, i was surprised they lost against the Jazz and the Hornets. LeBron’s stats have been decent in the stretch. I wonder if he’s playing angry feeling somewhat replaced

Plus minus. It is a measure of how the team performs while the player is on the floor. So he is +3 which means so far while he is on the floor the Lakers score an avg of 3 more points than they give up.

Within 3 seconds of turning on the 76ers game Embiid lost his balance, fell down, and threw up a weird backwards shot as he fell. I sense Loser of the Week will be uncontested.

Definitely paying more interest in the NBA now that Luka is with LA. Keeps things exciting, will see if he is able to turn it around. Maybe he is getting acclimated to new offense and city.

The trade deadline moves definitely made the last 30 games or so more interesting. Seeing how it works out with Butler and Curry in Golden State will also be fun to follow.

So far, Max Christie has been the best player in the trade. Is it fairs to say that the Mavs won the trade, then?

Christie has been good. Mavs only win the trade if AD returns and leads them to a championship. Otherwise, they probably should have tried to get more for Luka.

I am still confident Luka will be more like Luka soon.

Good point. AD getting hurt, regardless of what else happens with the other parties, is their worst case scenario.
