I thought the making it illegal is associated with higher incidents of trafficking....
When it's illegal, there's also far less safety for all parties involved. Places where it's legal have regular STI testing and all kinds of rules/regulations to protect the providers from violence or coercion.
I think it would also be much healthier for men in general if it were legal. Healthier nation. Not to mention, more tax revenue to states instead of to pimps. Win-win.
imo, sounds like you're conflating "legal" and "regulated"
I'm all for interested parties having ample access to testing and safety, but if you need a license then it's not "legal". for instance... having a child is "legal" because there's no need for a license.
