I realized I made a mistake in my computations 2 years ago lol
No calls from IRS so I guess my mistake was not consequential
What I learned from the article is that IRS assumes a landlord deducts depreciation even if you choose not to.
Depreciation recapture is annoying because it can add up after 5 or 10 years and is taxed like ordinary income
