The world's dumbest tech from last year -- and that says a lot -- has finished its lifecycle. For those that don't remember, the Ai Pin was a "wearable" Ai device that failed on nearly every axis, and I'm amazed there was $116m worth of tech at the company for HP to even find. My guess is there's one or two patents that they can find a use for.

I never understand these buyouts... how are they supposed to get ROI on $116m when they will likely dump the entire product?
