According to a survey conducted by Statista Consumer Insights, distrust is particularly high towards big tech as well as the government - only 8 percent and 12 percent, respectively, of those surveyed said they trusted these two entities.

That's why I really like data compiled into charts. They're not too complicated, but sometimes you really need to pay close attention when reading charts.
One of the things I most like and respect about Americans. Unfortunately Canadians are much more trusting of institutions.

It's usually a bad thing.
There is always a turning point where people believe in institutions and then start to disbelieve with all their might. This is when culture already leads to natural disbelief. My children will always be suspicious.
