Trouble in paradise lmao! The honeymoon didnt even last a week and even with Bregman being open to 2nd the issue is the Red Sox were planning to let Kristian Campbell earn his way on to the Opening Day Roster playing 2nd. Taking this option away means that the young infielder is SOL. They have money tied up in SS and Campbell isnt a first baseman. The outfield is pretty full as is so they have forced one of their top prospects down into the minors unless someone gets hurt....
I am not expert on personal but I sure as hell would have made sure you had some sort of plan before signing Bregman. Boston is sacrificing international money and a draft pick for him.
Bregman is a better defensive 3B but I get Devers not wanting to move positions. Bregman will probably play 2B.

So they don’t want Breggy at second because of the two top prospects they have. Honestly this seems to be a huge fumble on management in not talking to Devers. Bregman is good but if you look at the first half of last year he was awful. Now you are talking about kicking the face of your team off for a guy that could opt out in one year? It’s not good.
