I'm trying to learn more about how to be more private with my BTC purchasing / transacting. A lot of this is very difficult for me to undertand, but I try to pound it into my brain. Repetition is key, but I want to ask if this is correct.
I have a Start9 full node, running Sparrow Wallet, using alby and also have a few public channels opened with a friend.
Purchasing btc:
RobtoSats (using USD via Strike for payment) -> Paying RoboSats bond with Alby LN wallet funds -> Receive RoboSats BTC into Alby wallet -> send to Boltz for atomic swap (synthetic coinjoin?) -> send to Onchain cold storage, and all of this over Tor (and also running Obscura VPN).
Again, trying to keep it simple. I appreciate the insights, and the patience with maybe some of my ignorance, but I am striving to understand how to take on best practices.
Yes that is a pretty simple procedure using LN. Now with latest Alby version you can do swaps with Boltz directly from Alby UI.
Keep in mind this
Thank you @DarthCoin, I appreciate your writings. And yes, I do remember seeing that Alby update. I need to try that next time
@DarthCoin perhaps you could do a tutorial on it? or maybe you can direct me to one that explains how to do this? Thank you

Thank you, I have been reading them. Very great. I am asking specifically how to do the swap within Alby however.
Strange, I don't see that option? Viewing AlbyHub via my start9
What was the question?
Or did you just one someone to critique your current approach? I'd say check out my blog
