Searched Alby on SN, sorted by recent, and found this thread. I too am experiencing an issue zapping with alby connected wallet
ETA: also seeing an issue connecting to them in their Alby Go app. Definitely something down there
Same here. Unable to send/receive any zaps. Argh.
I had just recently started shilling albyhub since it's been a great experience since I set up albyhub in Sept 2024. Looks like I'll need to stop shilling it for now.
wss://relay.getalby.com/ looks to be the problem.
What can we do to avoid this and similar outages in the future? I can/will deploy more servers if need be. Downtime is unacceptable and I will go to crazy lengths to eliminate all single points of failure.

Good news; my zaps are working again today.

Mine too. I had dozens of failed zaps to go through and retry this morning.

Seeing any problems with yours today? My computer froze up last night and did a very unpleasant reboot, then got stuck at a message with something like "installing updates... do not powercycle... 97% complete" ...for hours. I got tired of waiting for it to do it's thing, went to bed.
Woke today and found that everything I've tried so far is working ok, except for being able to send zaps using Alby firefox extension.
Logged into my albyhub directly and confirmed that I was able to send LN transactions out from there.
I'm still unable to get the Alby firefox extension to behave properly again regardless of fiddling with it for an hour. Smh.

I just installed the newest update, but it was working fine before that and no failed zaps so far.

I'm running albyhub on a dedicated cloud VM.
I know my ablyhub version is a bit behind and I need to update it. I should probably do that.
I've never done an update on it since I first set it up, so I'm a bit nervous that it won't go well and I'd lose sats that I have on it. From what I can tell, there's no easy way to do it since I deployed it as an image on a render.com service. I neglected to take notes as to how I went about that, and would need to re-figure that out to do it all over again...
Same here!
