While I was on my way to the fair to photograph strangers, I always passed by the same spot and saw the same car parked in the same place advertising a new "Uber-like" company in the city. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to take the kind of photos I'd seen so many times and always wanted to do. I had everything I needed: a nice car and a model on site.
So I approached one of the promoters and proposed the idea of doing a photoshoot in the vehicle. She asked her boss for permission, and they agreed. That's how I got to work to take these photos:
On this occasion, I did use a light to capture my vision. I used an LED light panel pointed at the model to illuminate her face and make her stand out in the scene.
I used my Canon RP camera with a 50mm lens at f/2 to create a beautiful bokeh effect in the background.
I tried different angles for the photos, and the girl varied her poses to add variety:
What I always had in mind for these photos was that I wanted them to be quite "moody" with lots of shadows to make the photos look super interesting.
Then we moved on to take other photos inside the car, honestly these were my favorites:
In the end, both the girl and I were super happy with the results of this spontaneous photoshoot. I hope you like them as much as we do!
