You probably enjoy solitude though. Otherwise being a truck driver wouldn’t have worked out.
Are you an ISTP?
I'm not actually sure if I got into ISTP or not. Truck driving almost didn't work out for me actually.
When I first started I was an over the road driver across all 48 states. I would spend weeks at a time alone in a truck. It's not an easy way to live. I was extremely happy when I got a local job so I could go home everyday, because thet much isolation isn't healthy.

This reminds me of Tom Hanks and his volleyball friend.
Must be tough. I wouldn’t last a week - I’m a people person.
What made you come around to the truck job? The flexibility?

I was in my late 20's and I lost my job. I was single and thought "how hard could driving for 40 hours a week be?"
Well, first of all, legally you can work 60 hours a week, and they expected you to do it. And second of all, like I said the isolation was really bad.
Luckily now, I usually only work 40-45 hours a week, unless it's a busy week. If I need hours, they'll let me work more.
