Nice to see you regularly add up the bitcoin accepting shops. Mostly are from Germany and Europe. Have you installed Opago Pay outside Europe?
reply
Hello and thanks @IamSINGLE, we are currently focusing on the European market.

Great to see more places accepting Bitcoin Lightning! Now I’m just waiting for my employer to pay me in BTC! Anyone else hoping to get paid in Bitcoin soon? ⚡

Thanks @luca!

This is what the receipt looks like when buying a pretzel with sats🥨⚡

I would modify that ticket to show only "payment method: Bitcoin", leaving total value in euros. Is improper to say "Bitcoin: 1,30€" because you are not paying with euros, but with sats.

I think the same. It could show the value in sats!
@OPAGO_PAY, any legal issue?
reply
Unfortunately, we have no influence over the receipt format. However, it is crucial to ensure that the account "Bitcoin" or "Bitcoin Lightning" is properly set up in the cash register system to accurately record the incoming payments.

I agree with that. No worry was just an observation.

Maybe you could apply some "pressure" to have them appear on the receipt! 🤠

oh looks very cozy in the middle of the forest... but why card only? Are not germans more like "cash only" ?
reply
Hello @DarthCoin, you're right, it's truly a beautiful area! In fact, more and more merchants are now preferring card payments to minimize potential cash register errors by employees, as well as reduce the risks of theft and break-ins.

that means a better opportunity to onboard them with bitcoin
