I have not heard this but it sounds like one of @Aardvark’s sports facts.

Reading his post reminded me of the story.

Maybe it was the ghost of Pierre DuPont come back for revenge.

I think that perhaps some of us are not treating this legend with the respect it clearly deserves.

I assure you that I respect all sports facts, and if it was written on the internet, then by default, it becomes fact.

That's the thing. Of course it would be true if it was on the internet, but I can't find it.

Then just write about it, and it becomes true. That's how it works.
