Do you think it's good or bad to use it here in SN as an external wallet? Is it not the same to use cashu or CCs?
I've said many times here: If SN want you to use a self-custodial wallet, then use a proper one, not another custodial account. You are doing absolutely nothing (or even worse) if you connect another custodial account to SN. Or just use CCs. There's nothing wrong with using CCs.

Something like that. But inside SN I would prefer CCs, cashu will be useless and only create more trouble.

The problems I'm having are mainly paying, I've noticed that receiving isn't a problem. I've thought about just having reception activated but I think it's unfair to be receiving sats and sending CCs!

If you do not want to deal with running your own LN node, then use a rizful.com node for SN So you will have a certain level of degree of control. I've test it and works perfectly fine with SN over NWC, send and receive.

When I have a free hour, I'll take a closer look. Thanks! I think they charge a monthly fee, is that right?

They charge a monthly fee to make sure it's running 24/7 but you don't have to pay.
If you don't pay, it might go to sleep if it's inactive for some time but you can wake it up for free.
They are also on SN: @rizful_com

I'll have to find out more about it and see if it's right for me. Thanks!
one hour? It took me 5 min to setup the whole thing and start zapping on SN.

I have to read the user conditions and some opinions about the service, 5 minutes is not enough! Do you know how much a channel costs?
