I don't think he's correct in saying "Chinese soil". TSMC is based in Taiwan and are operating outside of the CCP's China.
Also he didn't mention Antminer software which apparently isn't great. The Bitaxe was able to get some efficiency gains by building from scratch their own software.
Interesting perspective and he's probably right about Bitmains dominance. I'd love to see more competition, 10 years isn't really a long time.
It may just be that they end up being like TSMC in Taiwan or ASML in the Netherlands. No one else can compete.
