What are your thoughts seeing this?

In case anyone is confused, 2016's halving is wrong. It should read:
2016 Halving - Block reward 12.5

reply

Indeed, you are correct.

Liked this tweet too 😆

2128 should hard fork a 4.5 sat block reward

reply

We might hard fork before that - to fix the Y2038 problem.

There won't be any issues in Bitcoin in 2038, that issue will appear in 2106 as Satoshi said:

unsigned int is good until 2106. Surely the network will have to be totally revamped at least once by then.
reply

That's correct. I never said the issue will appear in 2038, I meant before the year, mentioned above my comment - 2128.

To continue halving forever

reply

So why are you pro tail emissions? (Just curious, people have their reasons)

reply

It was a bad joke

We'll all be dead by 2120

I was pointing out the rounding error & how there are a little less than 21mil bitcoin

reply

In about a decade or so the transaction fees will probably already be higher than the block reward.

After that I reckon the halving won't have a massive effect on the price.

reply
