Sorry, but color me suspicious. Mainstream reporting often runs ahead of the actual science in terms of hype relative to reality. Not sure what performance benchmarks are being used for this so-called $30 AI, but "overfitting" is a known thing. I'm taking a wait and see approach whether any of this hype about lower-cost equally-performant models is justified.
