It's a really complicated spec that doesn't even work when you have more than just one tab open. We tried our best to workaround this but I think it's a lost cause.

LL really over-engineered it and I think nobody really uses it so they never realized how bad it is to use. Also no responses in their repository, see here, here and here. At this point I think it's abandonware.

edit: oh you mean LNC in Zeus? I didn't know Zeus supports LNC. I thought you're talking about LNC on SN.

yeah they are quite buggy. But do not think that NWC will fix that.
