I'm not familiar with how they fought. We're they just savage or something?
Very much so in the early conquests but they got quite sophisticated over the century plus of the mongol empire.
I highly recommend Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World by Jack Weatherford if you are interested in the story of the Mongol Empire.

I'm interested in just about everything. If you say it's a good book, I'll put it on the list.

This is one of my favourite books. I listened to the audiobook of this one to be quite frank. I used to listen to books a lot when I had my business because I travelled in the work van from site to site pretty much all day. So books and podcasts were my thing.

Yup, that's pretty much my life. I just listen to whatever is interesting. I'm never really tied to a genre, I figure good is good whatever it is.

I don't miss spending 5 or 6 hours of my day driving around the city and being annoyed by traffic, construction etc etc but it was good focus time to learn. We had one contract that was 3 hours outside of the city. I only went there once a quarter but I used to love it. No traffic, can take calls but can't drop everything to deal with a shit storm somewhere because I am in the middle of nowhere and just listen to a book or pods all the way and back. Was like a mini vacation for me. Haha

The best thing about my route is that it's about an hour north of Milwaukee. So after I get out of the city area, it's pretty chill. That's why I have time to listen to the stacker sports parents corner featuring the mosquito league.
