The sheer number of people at the fair is astounding. I take photos of many people daily, yet that's still less than 1% of all the attendees. With so many people gathered in one place, it's only a matter of time before you find the right people to photograph.
That was the case with the girl I'll show you next. What caught my attention was her short hair and tattoos, something not commonly seen in my city. So I asked if I could take her a couple of photos, and she said yes.
I quickly noticed how she posed in front of the camera without any direction from me, so I assumed she was a model. When I showed her the first photos, she liked them so much that we ended up doing a mini photoshoot.

The truth is, Venezuelan women are very feminine and always dress well and wear makeup to places like this, which increases my chances of them agreeing to be photographed. Also, it's very uncommon to see people with cameras on the street here, so they perceive it as an opportunity to get free professional photos. It's a win-win situation for both of us!
The next girls were two friends walking together. Since I saw that both of them were wearing hats, I decided to ask if I could take a couple of photos, and they said yes. First, I took some photos of them together:
And then I took individual portraits:
Then I photographed the other girl, who was quite confident!
I want to show you the following photos because it's not all about photographing girls 🤣. I met this guy a few days ago, and yesterday I was able to take these photos. He works with cotton candy and makes figures out of it.
Talking to him, he asked if I could take some photos of his figures, and I told him to make the one that attracts the most attention. He started making an elephant while I photographed the whole process:
Out of nowhere, a customer came to buy, and she had something very nice written on her shirt that went really well with the photos we were taking at that moment. Her shirt said, "Give life and color to your dreams."
And this is how the finished elephant looked. The guy was super nice and gave it to me as a gift, which made my day!
I hope you liked these photos as much as we did!!
