MicroStrategy (MSTR) is now doing business as Strategy. The company said, “Strategy is the world’s first and largest Bitcoin Treasury Company, the largest independent, publicly traded business intelligence company, and a Nasdaq 100 stock. This brand simplification is a natural evolution of the company, reflecting its focus and broad appeal. The new logo includes a stylized ‘B’, signifying the company’s Bitcoin strategy, and its unique position as a Bitcoin Treasury Company. The brand’s primary color is now orange, representing energy, intelligence, and Bitcoin.”

I can understand why one might think that.
I have a hard time fully understanding the full value of changing a company name.
Examples:
Facebook --> Meta
Google --> Alphabet
MicroStrategy --> Strategy
None of these seem to add any value.

It can make sense if your company is branching out into other products, but the original name is too closely associated to one specific product, like Facebook for the website and Google for the search engine.
The Microstrategy --> Strategy rebranding seems kinda dumb though.

Along with this he also announced how much loss the company has incurred in the last quarter. Maybe he now wants to off the ship and embrace Trump Shitlandia.

You can do that? Like just drop "micro" off the front of something and have it be true?
Amazing, I'm going to drop the "micro" too and just start telling people I have a normal penis.
