Umm hate to break it to ya but not only does the data say the complete opposite but it pummeled the Canadian Dollar and Peso because they rely on the US.
Also did you forget Trump has clearly said the dollar is to strong? That it harms our businesses? Either you have TDS or you fail to read charts and graphs that show how this was going to play out. He got everything he wanted at the end and it was because Canada and Mexico can’t afford it and never will be able to in regards to fossil fuels which both countries rely on.

So a strong dollar hurt usa citizens? How? Is deflation is bad? Why?
reply
a strong dollar is bad for American exports Trump wants to boost American exports and one way to achieve that is with a 'weaker' dollar
not saying I agree with him but that's where he is coming from
reply
so all americans should accept to lose value with a weaker dollar in favour of a few exporting companies? It's like saying I am so happy my wage is losing 15% per year, because at least boeing and ford are exporting more. lol
reply
no American 'should' accept anything
if you work in an export industry like agriculture a weaker dollar sounds beneficial but it's only a short term benefit
stronger dollar benefits all Americans in the long run

sound money or death!

Exactly. When you are trying to ramp up your exports a strong currency is an issue for a company because of the cost to produce is often much higher compared to weaker currencies. A prime example is Southeast Asia being used to manufacture and export. Due to their weaker currency it’s cheaper for them compared to the US.

you're all a bunch of socialists, read Mises, Rothbard and Hoppe.

It’s hilarious you say that because it’s just a flat out wrong. Obviously you haven’t read my posts before or you would clearly see not only my beliefs but what I do for work lmfao

Glad to be wrong on that.
