My neighborhood is reasonably defensible, so the first order of business is organizing whoever is sticking around and securing our entry points.
Most of the carnage will happen within the first couple of weeks, which is why I think hunkering down is the right initial strategy. After that, there will be tons of resources to scavenge.
Just ride it out? Probably not the worst idea.
