I have been playing around with DeepSeek for the last few days, here is my little review as someone who has no idea.
I really like his reasoning as you can see.
The R1 model is really good and much better than the free version of ChatGPT.
Of course it offers a lot of information, especially about Chinese history, economy and politics. Same goes for Taiwan.
Its fun to use it as a cross check against ChatGPT.
Have you tried it so far and played around with it?
I'm no expert, but I use DeepSeek via https://ppq.ai/. PPQ.AI is anonymous, and you pay with lightning. Great service.
Anyway, I've found Deep Seek to be great - slower than the alternatives, but really, really cheap.
I tried to test it and it wouldn't let me register... that was about two or three years ago.
I need to get up to speed with these tools.
