Is there a way to see how many people are actively online in SN? That’s something I enjoyed about older message boards
Ah I found the analytics button. I’d love to be able to see the active users on the home page without having to click on a link to see it
That could be fun. A little cramped on mobile though
I am kind of getting annoyed with some lightning companies not offering services in USA. The short list I can think of are
ln markets
Kollider
Synonym (they so shook they don’t even hire USA devs!)
Blocking USA IP addresses to avoid OFAC is really annoying. Is Bitcoin a global permission-less network or not?
The us government shook down BitMex and most of the punishment was minimal.
Man, NY is even worse. No Strike, No LN with Cashapp, can't even win 10 cents playing games on Zebedee!
The thing is, Bitcoin is permissionless, but companies are not. These examples may result in people really looking at the difference between the protocol and companies using it, hopefully increasing the interest in (and funding of) unregulated, unstoppable alternatives.
South Dakota just stopped strike as well!
I'm not one of the "Bitcoin makes government obsolete" Bitcoiners, but this particular area, where individual jurisdictions are blatantly interfering with transactions in cyberspace, is one case where they're obviously ~30 years behind reality.
Dang I didn’t know NY didn’t allow those apps
Yeah, Strike doesnt let you set up your account, Cashapp lets you do everything except anything with lightning, Zebedee doesnt let you use it at all, it also wont let you play using a VPN, to make sure no bad guys play it.

Making progress in my cabin project 🙂 Recently I managed to frame all windows & the door. Today I'll be doing a little bit of this and that (whatever's left) and prepping for moving in for at least few days 🙂
