I'm still trying to sort through my own stuff with the DCA plane crash two days ago but I was just hit with notifications over an Air Ambulance fight that crashed. Body parts have been reported across a number of streets and parking lots… just fucking heart breaking.

What is happening?
There was a video of an F-35 falling right out of the sky a few days ago, too.
So I haven't looked at the data since Novemeber of last year but a lot of these incidents are sadly normal and the US had a below-industry average number of them. It is because of phones and social media we know no and are informed so quickly that gives the impression.
Military plane wise the US has so freaking many of them and they are always being used that our incident rate is really low compared to the rest of the world
When you live in interesting times, it's tempting to lump everything together into one big something.
110% agree! The way people have to look at it is flight hours and such to know how much a plane has been used or flown not just the plane itself
Was it transporting a patient or enroute to pick one up?
Sadly transporting one and a doc and a family member of the patient
That's terrible.

It was bad…
How you holding up? This week has been crazy. Now this. This is just sobering. I understand that plane accidents are not uncommon around the world every year but when it happens in your homeland it hits differently, you know?

Drone footage from the crash… I don't think anyone suffered….
