When it comes to seed phrase backups, you'll likely be tempted to purchase the latest expensive seed phrase stamping technologies. I would challenge you to instead invest in your own stamping kit using washers. It'll save you loads of money.
Here's the supplies list:
  • Blockmit Washer Jig (you can print this yourself if you have a 3D printer! Look it up on thingiverse)
  • Steel metal stamping tool set (1/8") 3mm (Amazon)
  • Steel bench block (Amazon)
  • Pill bottle survival containers (Amazon)
  • hammer
  • Stainless steel 316 Washers, 8mm x 24mm (Bolt Depot is a good resource)
  • Metric hex bolts, Stainless steel 316, 8mm x 1.25mm x 60mm (Bolt Depot)
  • Metric hex nylon insert lock nuts, Stainless steel 316, 8mm x 1.25mm (Bolt Depot)
You can then follow the same strategy to stamp your own recovery seed words into the washers, load them on to the hex bolt, and secure with the lock not. The entire assembly then fits very nicely into one of these pill bottle survival containers.
That, or you can overpay over and over again for the latest in seed phrase stamping technologies as marketed by your fav youtube sensation.
Here's a nice video if none of this is making sense:
The containers btw are aluminum and you're using 316 stainless (please do use 316, it's better for corrosion properties). Different metals, different electric potentials.
If you're extra corrosion cautious you might wrap your seed phrase assembly in a ziploc (if you can fit it, it'll be a squeeze) before putting it into the pill container to mitigate possibility of galvanic corrosion risks through insulation.

As a nomad crossing borders now and then I have to do the opposite... Its complex, but at least now I can flush the seeds I keep as a backup inside a country into the toilet after check in...
Leaving a copy that can not be deleted by me anywhere simply adds to the stress, recently I moved a bit of Bitcoin into new wallets for that very reason

🚩 This post might be more relevant and engaging in the ~DIY territory.

Why stamp words themselves if it is easier to stamp sequence numbers of those seed words in the standard list? That will be shorter and only require 0-9 stamping set. It will also look less bitcoiny written down...

This is an interesting idea, nice

Interesting point. I like the "less bitcoiny". That list of 12/24 words, once people know about it more, will be pretty obvious.
