read the whole review loved the review I knew you were a nerd before, but now I know you're definitely a nerd.
I did read Way of Kings by Brandon Sandersen which was of course great. I've definitely heard of Wheel of Time but wow what an epic series. It's books like these where books really shine as a source of entertainment better than movies.
Really all it makes me think of is that @grayruby is right. Whatever is your fiat job, it's gotta be something where you really can get away with being paid to read at your desk all day or something!

These would be much harder to do as movies than LoTR. There's just so much material.
The Amazon series is pretty good, but also takes major liberties with the story and loses the sense of how big and diverse the world is.
